The 60th annual conference of Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information brought together more than 2,000 representatives of NGOs from 80 countries over three days. They discussed the subject of climate change and its consequences on water security, land use, and energy policies.
Eduardo Mestre, Director of the Water Tribune, participated in a roundtable event organized by the Seminar Foundation of Research for Peace (SIP). The roundtable discussion focused on the issue of ‘New Visions and Good Practices to Address the Impacts of Climate Change in Conflicts for Water and Water Security.’ The meeting took place on 6 September at 1:15 P.M. in Room 7.
